Privacy Policy

Who we are

Jaystone Services ("Jaystone," "we," "us") is a messaging and scheduling service based in California. We provide automated text-back and appointment scheduling on behalf of local service businesses ("our business clients"). When you call or text a business that uses Jaystone, we may send and receive text messages with you on that business's behalf.

Information we collect

When you contact a business that uses Jaystone, we may collect your phone number, your name, your service address, the content of the messages you send and receive, and basic call and message metadata (time, date, whether a call was missed). We collect this only after you initiate contact with the business.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry by text, answer questions, schedule an appointment, notify the business owner of your conversation, and keep a record of the lead for that business. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.

How information is shared

We share your information with the specific business you contacted so they can serve you. We also rely on trusted service providers to operate the service: a messaging provider to send and receive texts, an AI provider to generate replies, a calendar provider to schedule appointments, and a hosting provider to run the service and store data. These providers act on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information. Your mobile information is never shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

We keep lead and conversation records for as long as needed to serve the business client and as required by law, then delete or anonymize them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.

Your choices and rights

You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP (see the Messaging Terms below). Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information, and California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law. To make a request, contact us at hello@jaystoneservices.com.

Children

Our service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top of this page.

SMS Messaging Terms

Program description

When you call a business that uses Jaystone and the call isn't answered, Jaystone sends you an automated text on that business's behalf to help with your request and schedule service. The conversation continues by text.

After a completed job, the business may also send you a brief follow-up text asking how the service went and inviting you to leave a review. Reply STOP to opt out of these messages at any time.

Consent / opt-in

Your consent to receive texts is established through your direct relationship with the business — either by calling or texting the business first, or by providing your mobile number to the business while receiving service. We do not send texts to anyone who has not contacted the business or received service from it.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your conversation. You'll generally receive messages only in response to your own.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opt-out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You'll get one confirmation, then no further texts unless you re-start the conversation.

Help

Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@jaystoneservices.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
